Getting started
Create an account at opaline.so, then run npx opaline@latest in a terminal on the machine where you use Claude Code or Codex. It signs you in through the browser, uploads existing sessions for the repositories you choose and keeps future sessions in sync. The CLI documentation lists every command.
Opaline in ChatGPT and Codex
After you install the Opaline plugin, ChatGPT or Codex asks you to sign in to Opaline and approve the connection. The plugin can read the dashboards, sessions, team, skills and repositories of the workspaces your account belongs to. It cannot change or delete your sessions or workspace data.
If you belong to several workspaces, choose the one Opaline answers from under Default workspace in the plugin's settings, or name a workspace in your question.
To disconnect, remove or disconnect the plugin in ChatGPT or Codex. To revoke all of your connections immediately, email us.
Troubleshooting
No sessions or empty answers. Upload sessions with the CLI first, and check that the default workspace is the one your sessions are in.
A session cannot be opened. Only the person who uploaded a session and workspace admins can open it.
The connection keeps asking to sign in. Remove the plugin and add it again, then approve the connection.
Privacy
When you ask about your sessions in ChatGPT or Codex, the answers Opaline returns are shared with that assistant to respond to you. Read the Privacy Policy and Subprocessors for details.
